Our Team

The co-founders of TEXO Ventures represent a complementary combination of operational and investment experience gained in wide-ranging healthcare areas over the past two decades. The managing directors have experience as successful entrepreneurs themselves and relish the opportunity to collaborate with early-stage companies.

Randall Crowder, Jerry DeVries, and Philip Sanger, M.D.—the co-founders of TEXO Ventures—have over 50 years of combined healthcare industry experience, having spent the majority of their careers in areas such as imaging, health maintenance organizations, surgical centers, home/DME healthcare, laboratory services, hospitalist, healthcare IT, orthopedics, and cardiopulmonary.

We have been involved in either creating, working alongside, or investing with such companies as Healthspring, Path4 Ventures, Santé Health Ventures, Spinal Restoration, Intercede Health, Ortho Kinematics, Order Optimizer, and many other inspiring healthcare companies.
